SIENNA ARTS was formed in 2008, initially by past and present students if ‘Fine Arts & Design’ at Northbrook College. We held our first group exhibition at Heene Gallery in 2009, and plan to exhibit at least once a year.
Since we formed we have been joined by other enthusiastic and creative people with an interest in all aspects of art. Great experience is not necessary, just enthusiasm, and a desire to work alongside like minded people.
We meet weekly to paint, draw and talk about art, and exchange ideas and share our
news and experiences-
Sometimes we work as a group to a chosen theme or project, and at other times we work on our own ideas. We all find the support and encouragement within the group invaluable.
We also arrange workshops with visiting Artists, sketching field trips, and visits to exhibitions and galleries.
Our purpose is to inspire and support one another, and to continue to be experimental and enthusiastic artists.
